Ns gustan mucho las ideas que combinan diferentes formas artísticas con la gastronomía de forma creativa.

Normalmente nos llaman la atención propuestas visuales, como pinturas, esculturas o fotografías, pero en esta ocasión tenemos unos curiosos vídeos donde podemos ver una danza protagonizada por sushi humano.

Suena extraño, y lo cierto es que el resultado es algo singular. Se trata de una interpretación del sushi a través de la expresión corporal, encarnada por bailarines que representan algunas de las formas más conocidas de esta especialidad japonesa. Con una puesta en escena minimalista, los intérpretes protagonizan una extravagante aunque elegante danza, finalizando con una pose que se identifica con un tipo concreto de sushi.
Estos curiosos vídeos son parte de una campaña de publicidad llevada a cabo por el Consejo Godfisk de pescados y mariscos de Noruega. La idea es incentivar el consumo de productos del mar entre la población noruega, promoviendo el uso de los productos marinos en forma de sushi.

La autoría de la campaña pertenece a la agencia de publicidad Try/Apt, de Oslo. Conscientes de que hoy en día se necesita sobre todo llamar la atención del público, los creativos tuvieron la idea de lanzar una serie de vídeos donde primara la originalidad, sin perder de vista la naturaleza de aquello que están promoviendo. El resultado: una danza protagonizada por piezas de “sushi humano”.

De este modo, en los vídeos del proyecto podemos ver a varios bailarines profesionales ataviados con simples atuendos, interpretando una suave danza de reminiscencias clásicas, pero con extraños movimientos. Cada número finaliza con la representación de una pieza de sushi, maki, nigiri y sashimi, que sustituye a los bailarines al final de cada danza. No hay duda de que la idea es original, pero si resulta simpática o de mal gusto, ya depende de la interpretación de cada uno.
